Records maintained, records broken

Which Spurs midfielder Will challenge me next? 😉

This is just one reason why we love him, he has nothing but praise for the club and loved his time here until he had to leave to try and save his marriage, which was unsuccessful in the end. He returned to Germany, where his wife was a TV presenter, otherwise he would have stayed longer.

he had quite an impact in his first 50 games as you can see and that lad Dele Alli isn't doing too bad, despite the heavy criticism he has been getting from the fickle Spurs fans lately. Another two goals helped us keep up the pressure as all the top six won their Christmas game.

He helped us become the first side ever to score four goals at the St Mary's Stadium in a Premier League game, that's 160 matches. It is the first time Southampton have conceded four goals at home since 1998. Their defence hadn't conceded for five hours and they went 1-0 up, so to come from behind to win showed real character and determination, because we were 2-1 up before they had a man sent off.

That win meant we have won a record 71 points from 37 games in 2016 - our highest total in a calender year in the Premier League era.

  1. I loved Raffa
When he walked on the pitch he thought he was the best player in the world and that is the belief you need in yourself. If we could have had him for 5 years when he was a bit younger he would have lifted the team and mental attitued to a level needed to win trophys. The same attitued Graham Roberts had.
    Well that's my opinion
