Pics: Tackle could have ended Walkers career
Serious foul play is an automatic red card, whether it is intentional or not. Swansea City defender Taylor should have been sent off, he could have blinded Kyle Walker in one eye. To get away scott-fee is shameful refereeing, he didn't give him a yellow card or even have a word with the player.
It is an instant red card if you go into a tackle with studs showing. How are \taylor's studs not showing? They clearly are at a height they shouldn't be at unless he is attempting an overhead kick.
To have your studs head high and to follow through onto a player is naughty. Walker was cut to the side of his eye. he could quite easily have caught him in the eye and then there would have been serious repercussions. Tt could have ended Kyle Walkers' career. It was sheer luck that it didn't.
I don't think people realize quite how serious this tackle was and the consequences it could have had. John Moss should be reprimanded for his handling of the situation. Players health and safety is paramount, not according to this referee though apparently.
