Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United were chasing teenage Wolfsburg attacking midfielder Murat Saglam. A report in The Times suggests West Ham have won the chase and that manager Slaven Bilic has been given thr go-ahead to sign the 18-year-old (19 next April) on a five-year contract.
He has not yet played for the first team and has apparently already agreed a deal with West Ham who have been building a development squad for the future.
West Ham currently sit one place and one point out of the relegation zone after a disastrous start to the season. Saglam is likely yo join them next summer.
