Fabregas, Witsel, Janssen

TRANSFER TALK

Cesc Fabregas isn't guaranteed a long-term future at Chelsea and the 29-year-old (30 next May) has been linked with a move to Italian side Roma but there has been no contact between the two parties, just speculation.

Axel Witsel has been on the radar of many a club. We have been heavily linked, Everton tried to sign him but with no European football didn't have a realistic chance and Juventus had many a negotiation with his representatives. The outcome of all that was a verbal agreement that Witsel would join Juventus in the future.

Juventus were keen to see his fee reduced and Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport now suggest the 27-year-old (28 next January) Belgian international midfielder could well be moving to Italy in January for just £5.03 million (€6m - AUS$8.50m - US$6.38m). A far cry from the figures previously mentioned for him.

Striker Vincent Janssen has been having injections in his ankle and now Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that the Ditch summer signing will be out of action until the New Year. That puts further pressure on Harry Kane with Son Heung-min deputising when needs be.
