A plain daft suggestion

Transfer Tavern have been at their nutty best again suggesting that Kevin Wimmer should be loaned out in January because we have Cameron Carter-Vickers, who hasn't played in the Premier League and Eric Dier, who has shown lapses against top quality opposition.

What happens if Victor Wanyama gets an injury and Eric Dier has to play in midfield? Then defensively we are stretched very thin and in trouble. Why don't people think things through before writing this drivel.

We would have to buy a defender to provide cover for a few months because it is possible for two central defenders to be injured at the same time and as a manager you have to take into account all possibilities and have contingency plans. A plan to weaken us in a crucial area is plain daft.

Their other suggestion is loaning out Tom Carroll. Why, he isn't a good enough player to remain at Tottenham. We gave him a contract so he would have a transfer fee, even Harry Winks is above him in the pecking order. Sell him and raise some cash. Still, at least unlike the Wimmer suggestion this one has some logic behind it.
