Spurs scouting in France

SCOUTING TALK

Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool all had scouts in Limeil-Brévannes, a small suburb about 15km from the centre of Paris where the Tournament Val-de-Marne was held recently.

They were watching young players from France, USA, England and Russia with some of the French drawn from Lyon, Nantes and Toulouse. The tournament is an Under-16 event and it is reported that several French players caught the eye.

Attacker Willem Geubbels (Lyon), who scored twice against Russia particularly was noted, as were Abdoulaye Diallo (Nantes) and Adil Taoui (Toulouse FC).
