Contracts talks have been called off between Lyon and 24-year-old (25 next May) Rachid Ghezzal, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
Everton are said by some outlets to be leading the race to sign the Algerian with Tottenham and Liverpool also tracking him. There will no doubt be a host of unnamed European clubs wanting to sign him too, given he will be free in the summer.
Everton made a summer bid for him, but he turned them down and the latest reports suggest Turkish and Italian clubs have made enquiries for him. Reports in France say Everton will make another bid in January and that his agent won't rule out a move during the winter window. Agents rarely do rule out a potential move for their client, it's counter productive so doesn't really mean much.
