The chase for Spanish international Isco is on and Tottenham have been at the forefront of it since the summer. He decided to stay at Real Madrid then and clubs are now circling for him in January.
Our UEFA Champions League campaign hasn't exactly been a rip-roaring success at Wembley and we are in a precarious position now. That will not have helped our cause.
Juventus have been chasing him, they can offer virtually guaranteed title at the moment and a realistic chance of winning the Champions League football, Bayern Munich can off guaranteed titles and a realistic chance of winning also, Chelsea another side in for him along with all the major Premier League sides.
It will now be very difficult for Pochettino to convince him that Tottenham should be his next destination unless he can convince him that he will be the difference and that he'll, therefore have a very important role to play. If that appeals to him then we have a chance, if titles and guaranteed Champions League football are pre-requisites then we may struggle.
We may be unbeaten but we have now drawn more games than we have won. We will have to up our game to see us in a favourable position come the January transfer window.
