Spurs chasing Lukaku

TRANSFER TALK

According to Rome based Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, established in 1878, Tottenham are still in the market for Jordan Lukaku.

Bengian Lukaku is a left-back and Tottenham are making enquiries should Chelsea firm up interest in Ben Davies. Both Corinthians 19-year-old (20 next April) Brazilian left-back Guilherme Arana and Fulham's 16-year-old (17 next April) Ryan Sessegnon as well as Ben Chiwell have been players we have been tracking.

Lukaku has 7 Belgian caps and was transferred from Belgian side KV Oostende to Italian side Lazio for £4.25-million (€4.95m - AUS$7.08m - US$5.29m) on 22 July. Since then the 22-year-old (23 next July) has started 3 games, completed 2 of them and been a substitute in another.

At the moment he has a Malleolar injury and has missed the last 5 games with it. He has been on the bench as an unused substitute 3 further times.

He has just been cleared of his second speeding offence when the judge couldn't prove he was behind the wheel at the time his car was speeding.
