Longest winless streak since 2004

We haven't won in seven games now although we remain unbeaten in the Premier League which doies at least place some pressure on our opponents.

It can lead us into a not lose mentality as opposed to a must win mentality and perhaps that is being seen in the urgency we put into our play in the last third. We can be over patient at times.

We have drawn five and lost two of our last seven games in all competititions which is our longest winless streak since May 2004. Then Spurs Stat Man tell us we went eight games winless, let's hope we don't equal that against West Ham on Saturday, when we take them on at White Hart Lane at 5.30pm.

It is up to us to show our character and show we deserve to be challenging at the top of the table. The pressure will be on us, we will be playing a team who see this as their biggest game of the season so we will need to be motivated to counter their approach.

Their defence has been pourous so we should be going into the game with confidence and the expectation that we will be able to create enough chances to secure a victory.
