Shots on goal
It stands to reason and is statistically proven that the more shots you have the more goals you score. Alo the closer to goal you have the shots increases the chances of success.
Defensively the less goal attempts you allow the opposition then the less you concede and the further away you drive those attempts the less you'll concede.
It is early in the season to see a marked difference but the most attempts on goal by a Premier League team this season are:
Liverpool (135) - 18 goals
Spurs (127) - 12 goals
Chelsea (122) - 12 goals
Man Utd (121) - 13 goals
Man City (118) - 18 goals
