Janssen 1 goal 1 assist in 5 games

Mauricio Pochettino expresses himself happy with Vincent Janseen who has taken a step up in grade to join Tottenham, a move his national team boss feels is a good one for him.
“We are happy with the way he’s working. It’s true he needs to score because always a striker [needs to score], like what happened with Harry Kane. But only be patient - he’s working and he’s adapting his qualities in a new club and a new league. That’s always difficult, but we’re happy with the way he’s working.”
Jemaine Jenas commented after the CSKA Moscow Champions League victory that his hold up play is second to none and Ruud Gullit feels he is not getting himself in enough scoring areas. The ability seems to be there and it is early days. Despite the fact he has made 9 appearances he has only made 453 minutes. That is 5 full games in which he has scored 1 goal and has 1 assist to his name.
