TRANSFER TALK

Spurs linked to £17.16m winger

Good morning folks, a little late out of my pit this morning here in sunny Folkestone and the first thing to report today is our interest in a Galatasaray player.

Simply because the window has shut doesn't mean transfer activity stops, far from it. We will be heavily scouting players, some new ones, plenty of existing ones like Moussa Dembele at Celtic, who is now being scouted by Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Portuguese paper A Bola have revealed that Premier League quintet, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham United are all interested in Galatasaray winger Bruma.

The 21-year-old (22 in October) Portuguese Under-21 international spent last season on loan at Real Sociedad but struggled to impress in Spain. He is right-footed so generally plays on the left and is under contract until 2018. In 4 league games this season he has scored once and had 2 assists.

Reports suggest Jose Mourinho has indicated to the player that if he progresses he will make a move for him in the summer of 2017. This was confirmed by the player himself.

"He congratulated me for the performance and said he was impressed with me. He promised to closely monitor my work and said I could play for the national team soon.
"Of course it was amazing to hear this from Mourinho and he said he will keep an eye on how I do this season."

Galatasaray are hoping to extend his contract though and are offering him a deal until 2020 with a £17.16-million (€20m - AUS$29.52m - US$22.31m). release clause.

We scouted him against Rizespor where he put on a display and we also had scouts at the game against Kayserispor. The Turkish press are reporting him as being the clubs best player so far this season with him being voted Man of the Match against Akhisar and Kayserispor.

He is reported as being very fast with excellent dribbling skills and an eye for goal.
