Man of the Match three times in a row

Three games, three Man of the Match awards from the Tottenham fans and some of them wanted him sold during the summer.

Son Heung-min requeated a transfer and was denied his request because Pochettino wanted to keep him believing that he would blossom this season. That faith has been rewarded so far and he has become a certain starter in the Premier League now.

Nacer Chadli was released during the summer so Son could then be moved to the left to cover Christian Eriksen, who I am sure has had lengthy discussions about playing centrally. It did allow us to rotate, but such has been his form that he has demanded inclusion, exactly what you want to see from a player.

Injuries have meant Alli being moved around allowing Eriksen to play centrally at times. We now have two wide men who are rather good dribbling with the ball. It gives us so many options and makes us a far more dangerous team.

We move on to Moscow in positive mood seeking a win to kick start our Champions League campaign. Son may well be held back for Manchester City next week.
