Adebayor still more interested in money

After the thigh injury to Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, which will keep him our for a few weeks the French side held discussions with did hold discussions with former Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid and Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

They found, however, just as Turkish side Rizespor found, that he was more interested in his wages than playing football.

The Lyon owner, Jean-Michel Aulas, was asked by the French media about the possibility of signing the 32-year-old (33 next February).

"Sure, he's a player I'm very fond of, but there's no chance so far, at least at the terms we discussed. Could he be joining us in the future? Yes, if he really wanted to".
Adebayor has consistently shown he isn't interested in playing football, only on collecting wages. he couldn't even get in the Crystal palace team which says a lot about his attitude and that isn't being disrespectful to Palace, the guy has played for Real Madrid. If he really wanted to play he had the ability to walk into their team.

Once again though, this time it is the French who find out that money is more important to him.
