Yarmelenko injured or refused to play to force a move?

TRANSFER TALK

it seems the talk of a back injury for 26-year-old (27 in October) Ukrainian international winger Andriy Yarmolenko may have been false, the player may be refusing to play for the club in an effort to force a move, something that is becoming more and more common now.

A report in Football.ua informs us that the TV channel Football suggest the winger refused to play in Dynamo Kiev’s league game with Stal Kamianske on 14 August, he did, however, play a week later in the 2-1 victory over Volyn Lutsk in the Ukranian Premier League.

Former Tottenham striker Sergei Rebrov, who never found any form at White Hart Lane, suggested he missed the game because he hadn't recovered form the concussion he suffered and hadn't trained (Rebrov article here). There seem to be conflicting stories over his absence.

Previous stories have suggested Dynamp Kiev want £25-million for him. Getting accurate information from Ukraine is not always easy and the last player we tried to sign form the country was agreeing deals with all and sundry and then nit turning up to sign them.
