Spurs chase another Fulham youngster

TRANSFER TALK

Reports today suggest Tottenham 16-year-old want Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon and are willing to bid £3m.

Arsenal previously made an approach for the England Under-17 left-back, who can also play left midfield. Danny Rose was converted from a winger to full-back while Gareth Bale went from full-back to winger. It is hard to tell where his future will lie simply going on reports.

Liverpool have also been linked with him in recent months and the Daily Mirror are trying to make something of this by suggesting we are 'locked in a battle' for the youngster.

He made his senior debut in the EFL Cup first-round tie at Leyton Orient where he played the whole 90 minutes and Spurs scouts are said to be urging the club to sign him quickly.

Quite how the Sun have determined that Spurs are looking to fast-track Sessegnon to the first team is unclear, they haven't supplied any corroborating evidence like a conversation with a parent or agent. It is suggested we would be willing to offer Fulham a player on loan as part of a deal, no names mentioned though.
