Klostermann isn't a target, just a watching brief

I see another story is being reported from Germany via newspaper Bild and various websites that Arsenal are 'pushing' to beat Tottenham to a 20-year-old defender we are not chasing.

Mauricio Pochettino made it quite clear that we do not need centre-back replacements and we have two right-backs and two left-back. We have Cameron Carter-Vickers coming through along with Anton Walkes, both who acquitted themselves well in the pre-season games. We don't need to be buying any defenders, we have three and more coming through.

Tottenham, like other clubs, watch hundreds of thousands of players a season, not every time they play of course, but we monitor partially via scouting software from the Internet. German defender Lukas Klostermann is just one of those.

The 20-year-old (21 nxt June) RB Leipzig defender isn't a target, he is simply a player we are keeping an eye on.
