Fazio, N'Koudou and Sofiane Boufal

TRANSFER TALK

Fazio, N'Koudou and Sofiane Boufal

Roma will pay a loan fee of £1-million (€1.19m -AUS$1.76m -  US$1.33m) for experienced Argentinian centre-back Federico Fazio for next season. They will then have the option to buy him, Roma report his transfer fee would be £2.68-million (€3.2m -AUS$4.71m -  US$3.57m).

Lille winger Sofiane Boufal is back on the Spurs radar despite being out injured until the end of August.

With Marseille refusing to release Georges-Kevin N'Koudou until Clinton Njie is signed and the fact that he hasn't been training now means he hasn't had a pre-season and isn't going to be fit and that could affect his season for quite a while. As a result Tottenham want the fee reduced and are looking elsewhere at alternatives.

We were linked early in the window with the 22-year-old (23 in September)but we hadn't contacted his agent, we had just been watching his situation. There was no point making enquiries when he isn' going to be fit for the start of the season. Now that we are waiting for Marseille to sort matters out it will make little difference if we pursued Boufal.

We have now contacted his agent, Yvan Le Mée to ask about his clients situation. This may serve to hurry the N'Koudou move through, it may encourage Marseille to renegotiate his fee or accept us paying a lower percentage of Njie's wages or we could just turn our attention to Boufal, who despite a lot of interest is still at Lille.
