Daily Mirror resurrect Rafa Silva story

While the British press continue to suggest Tottenham are pursuing Portuguese winger Rafa Silva, despite such a move appearing unlikely. I covered his third party ownership issues in a previous article but despite this the daily Mirror are blindly suggesting we are preparing a £10-million bid. They say this because the Evening standard ran an article suggesting that price.

Braga have already turned down more than that for 80% of the economic rights of the player so a £10-million bid would be utterly pointless. It isn't going to happen.

 Porto plummeted to a new low last season, finishing 15 points behind champions Benfica and 13 behind Sporting, as well as a poor time in Europe. The Portuguese press continue to believe he is imminently joining Porto to be a part of their rebuilding based on Portuguese players.
