Bentaleb, Yedlin, Adebayor, Flamini, Sissoko

TRANSFER TALK

First the talk is that Spurs want £10-million for Nabil Bentaleb, then the talk was £12-million, now that has increased to £15-million. It all rather shows it isn't just about the fee but how the fee is paid as well.

The papers today are suggesting Daniel Levy has turned down a £10-million bid from Schalke ( I belive it was £9.94m). What they mean is Spurs have turned down a £10-million bid, the decision may not have got anywhere near Levy. If Spurs have a figure we won't go below for instance, then the decision won't even reach Daniel Levy. It just depends upon what picture you want to paint.

As per the earlier article Schalke have submitted a new improved bid.

Next up, Ameerican right-back DeAndre Yedlin is wanted, even though we value him at £6-million and clubs are offering no more than £3.5-million. This time the club is question is Championship side Newcastle United, busy rebuilding under Rafa Benitez. Thus far eight new recruits have arrived. but injuries are forcing them back into the marketplace for a right-back.

Ambitious Rizespor club manager, Hikmet Karaman, has revealed to Turkish press agency Anadolu Agency,Çaykur that his side are finalizing negotiations to sign 32-year-old former Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor and 32-year-old former French international and Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini.

France Football are reporting that 27-year-old French international and Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko has agreed to a move to Inter Milan. Newcastle are still asking for a £35-million while the Italians are offering £28.5-million. Inter expect to be able to complete a deal before the window closes.

Meanwhile, former Toulouse star is still tracked by Juventus, PSG and Real Madrid as well.
