TalkSPORT have come up with a strange story suggesting 28-year-old (29 next January) striker Nikola Kalinic is a Spurs target that Napoli will try to sign if they lose Manolo Gabbiadini to Everton.

Once a target, always a target seems to be the talkSPORT motto, they have their nickname for a reason. Apparently we have been linked with him over the last 2 months and apparently his moving to Napoli will be a blow to us.

That is certainly news to me given he is above our stated player age and that we have already signed the striker we want. Still, it is talkSPORT, on a par with the Metro or perhaps just above.
