Tottenham target, 27-year-old Franco Vasquez, is joining Sevilla in LaLiga who,having won the Europe League for the third straight time, have Champions League football to offer him. He is in Spain and has been undergoing a medical and will sign a four-year contract. We can cross him off the list.

Arsenal are lining up a bid for 29-year-old Colombian international striker Carlos Bacca, according to both UK and Italian sources. He is almost certainly leaving AC Milan after just one season having having made a name for himself at Seville.

West Ham have had a meeting with him, but Arsenal would be a far more attractive proposition for him. His fee might be an issue for them given the length of contract they would be offering.

“My future is in God’s hands. I have four years on my contract with Milan, but I know of the interest of English, Spanish, German, French and Italian teams. It’s not a simple decision but we are calm because there is time and my agent is in contact with these clubs and Milan.”

The Daily Star claim that Barcelona would think of signing Memphis Depay if the Dutch winger, who has had an unsuccessful season at Manchester United decides to leave. This is news to the Spanish press as the Catalan club's director of sport, Albert Soler, has just announced they only have £21.02-million (€25m - AUS$36.37m - US$27.77m) left to spend.

"We have between €23m and €25m left for signings and our sporting needs. We are able to make more acquisitions, and if we don't feel the need, then we have extra budget for next time. We would like to have more youth products make the first team, but that's not always possible."

The British press at it again it seems. Has that story been fed to the paper to try and get clubs interested in him ro has it just been invented? United signed him on a £28.9-million (€34.70m - AUS$50.54m - US$38.64m) deal (including bonuses) and would be looking to recoup that, taking him out of Barcelona's financial means at this time.
