Spurs after £6.82m Tello

In the search for a goalscoring wide attacker Tottenham may have turned their attentions to Barcelona winger 24-year-old (25 in August) Cristian Tello, although he was on loan at Italian side Fiorentina last season.
Tello went to Italy on 22 Jnauary 2016 and Italian newspaper 'La Nazione report that he is very happy at Fiorentina. They suggest he wants to stay and that the Italians would like to keep him, but won't match Barcelona's asking price.
the Spanish are happy to sell. Tello has two season at Porto, which didn't go well, before his move to Italy and now he has found some form wants to remain in that environment. Barcelona are asking £6.82-million (€8m - AUS$11.69m - US$8.82m) for ello who has a contract with them until 2018.
Swansea City, Southampton, Liverpool and Valencia have all shown an interest in him, but he has turned them all down. Now the Italian press are suggesting that his agent, Josep Maria Orobitg, is flying to London to meet with Spurs over a possible move.
It is early days yet, but Tottenham do have the carrot of Champions League football to offer and Pochettino, who is a known admirer of the player, feels he can continue the players revival. The fee obviously isn't going to be a problem, but if the Italians are not going to meet his asking price then Tottenham might just seem a very good alternative for him.
