Roberto Mancini interested in the England job

The Guardian report that, former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini would be interested in taking on the England manager’s role. Roy Hodgson, who should never hasve been appointed in the first place couldn't even figure out how he wanted England to play and had disagreements with his own coaching staff at the European Championships. He then resigned and tried to duck any inquest effectively sticking two fingers up to the England fans.

Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has been ruled out, it's clear the tax evasion trial stopped him getting thr kob when it should have been his, Glenn Hoddle still would be an excellent choice as an interim boss, if not a full time boss. His departure from the England post had nothing to do with football and was a mistake the British press are responsible for.

Mancini is currently the Internazionale manager but would be happy to return to England where he won a Premier League title and an FA Cup. His position at the San Siro has been cast into some doubt in Italy after a takeover by the Chinese retail giant Suning Commerce Group Co Ltd. They have taken a 70% stake in the club at a cost of £220m. The new owners may have a new direction for Inter and Mancini, who only has a year left on his contract, may not figure in that direction.
