No evidence o suggest Spurs want Brozovic yet

A few seem to be behind the times. talkSPORT are suggesting Tottenham are 'joining' the Liverpool and Arsenal race for unwanted Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, however, we have been linked with him since the season finished.

They tell us local paper La Repubblica suggest we have thrown our hat into the ring for the 23-year-old (24 in November). Now I hate to bring this up, but Inter Milan want Erik Lamela, who they are not going to get and are keen to offer us players for him. It is no surprise the local press keep suggesting we want Inter players.

I have not been convinced by the rumours earlier in the window and have heard nothing to change that view. The money being talked about is £25-million which we will no be interested in, Inter have just paid £7-million for him. They need to raise money to stay within Financial Fair Play boundaries.

He is way overpriced on what he has achieved, which is nothing really. These stories are all originating from the Italian end rather than our end, which only heightens suspicion.
