Tottenham HeadlinesThe Tottenham headlines today are full of creativity such as Spurs are expecting a bid from Hull City for Ryan Mason this week. Well that is just what they call journalists licence, in other words its been made up. Hull are interested so therefore a bid must be coming, lets write a story about it. It is unlikely Mason will be sold and he won't be sold with no replacement lined up as currently he is the backup for Mousa Dembele.
Tottenham are interested in Lille winger Sofiane Boufal, his agent confirms we are watching his progress, well we watch the progress of a stack of players for every position. Southampton have thrown their hat into the ring but Boufal is expecting Champions League clubs to come in for him so isn't entertaining offers from elsewhere.
There are two changes to our fixtures, meaning we are on the box twice in August and September.
Liverpool (H) – remains Saturday, August 27, 2016 – kick-off now 12.30pm – live on Sky Sports
Sunderland (H) – now Sunday, September 18, 2016 – kick-off 4.30pm – live on Sky Sports
The Daily Express are at it again pretending we are in a battle to sign Klon left-back Jonas Hector with Arsenal and Liverpool. We have no use of a left-back having two perfectly capable home-grown players covering the position. As usual in ur press Hector is being hyped up into something special when he isn't, he's just a decent left-back who scored a penalty.
