Marseille want Njie, Spurs to sign Nkoudou in days

TRANSFER TALK

Marseille want Njie

We were locked in a transfer saga with Marseille and played a game with their financial situation that in the end didn't go our way. Now the situation is reversed as the French club look to bring in players on loan or on free deals.

They have targeted Clinton Njie and have asked us about the possibility of a lean deal with an option to buy. Njie, as reported before, has not convinced Mauricio Pochettino and what little I saw of him in front of goal, he was a woeful finisher. His game looked as if it needed a lot of work and perhaps he is the reason we are looking at wide attackers, not as many seem to think to replace Nacer Chadli.

We are negotiating with them for dual-footed 21-year-old winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, who plays mainly on the left. The French-Cameroonian is thought to be likely to sign a five-year deal at Tottenham in the coming days after a week of negotiations.

    1. What about pritch? Nje could be another lamela. Two pacy wingers two top strikers with Ali and Lamela central and wanyama/dier and three centrebacks 3-1-4-2 could be dembele and Erickson or Ali and Lamela or Bentaleb if reports of preseason return to form are correct

    2. What about a 3-5-2 Rose and Walker joining a midfield 3 of dier/wanyama dembele/bentaleb Ericksen/Ali this allows rotation and based on how fast chemistry develops u can have two groups of midfields who give different options? Lamela Son Nje and new signing would allow a clearout on loan or sold with buyback clause for mason pritchard chadli and carrol
