Laughable bid, N'Koudou and Sakho

TRANSFER TALK

The latest news on Georges-Kévin N'Koudou is that we have agreed a £10.87-million (€13m -AUS$18.95m -  US$14.35m) deal, although all sources seem to stem from L'Equipe, who are not always accurate. Some report this as what Marseille are looking for, some as a bid. The local paper La Provence hasn't reported an agreed fee yet.

Other reports in France suggest N'Koudou does not want to leave, but understands the financial situation at Marseille. The French do like to paint a picture that a player is doing everything for the club. These reports suggests there are more offers than ours and that the French club have received bids of €12m (German press say this was from Hamburg) and €15m. They also say the winger has turned down Hamburg and that he may well end up at Tottenham.

West Ham United's desperation to sign a big name striker, despite having no Champions League football to offer isn't going down well with their existing strikers. Slaven Bilic says they are all good enough but is trying to offload Enner Valencia, who my West Ham mate says is only there for the money.

Now Diafra Sakho is refusing to go on the clubs pre-season tour. He handed in a transfer request because of their search as clearly he would have to play second or third fiddle. Sevilla, Hamburg and a couple of Premier League sides have made enquiries to take the 26-year-old Senegalese striker at the right price.

West ham are also reported to be showing great interest in £66.92-million (€80m -AUS$116.39m -  US$88.29m) James Rodriquez from Real Madrid. You have to laugh don't you, Champions League winner to having to qualify for the Europa League, he's going to jump at the chance isn't he!

One minute the 25-year-old Colombian wants to leave, the next, a story he wants to stay and fight for his place, then he wants to lave again. Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG are said to be interested, that is the only level of club he'd join. If they were prepared to pay his price is another matter.
