Lamela stories surface again

Tottenham Hotspur - The usual stories are emanating from Italy and with new owners come new plans. Inter Milan are weighing up a summer move to land Tottenham star Erik Lamela, according to Italian publication Tuttosport, something for which they have no hope.

Inter understand buying Lamela outright isn't a realistic option and are therefore thinking of including 23-year-old (24 in November) Croatian central midfielder Marcelo Brozovic or 24-year-old (25 next May) Colombian central defender Jeison Murillo in negotiations to sweeten the offer.

The is little to no chance of success unless Pochettino feels one of these two can offer the squad more than Lamela can and that is debatable. ou have to take into account what Tottenham would lose with Lamela now acclimatised to what we would gain with an untested central midfielder or back-up centre back. The pros do not outweigh the cons, besides nobody Pochettino wants is leaving and Lamela has already said he is staying.
