Janssen adapting to Pochettino system

We have bought Vincent Janssen to help Harry Kane yet various website are using the Tottenham name to suggest Sevilla have signed a Tottenham target, Wissam Ben Yedder.

The 25-year-old is a player we have scouted but we haven't tried to buy him this summer so he is hardly a target, just someone we follow. Still, you can't let facts stop our media. West Ham have been linked, even very briefly Arsenal, both seem to have been linked with every available striker.

Vincent Janssen has had two games for us and looked much more the part with stronger players around him. As Pochettino pointed out he still ha to adjust his game to ours. What is encouraging is his running off the last defender and the way he beats defenders to the near post.

“He is adapting his game to the team. He has come from a different league and a different style of play. 

“I’m very happy with his performance. It’s true that we want him to score but he still needs time to adapt to our game.”
