Icardi agent playing media games

It sounds very much like Mauro Icardi's agent, his wife, the former wife of a teammate, is playing media games, presumably to try and get her husband a wage increase.

Icardi is the Inter captain and does not want to leave the club and the club do not want to sell him. Inter have openly come out in the media and said so. His agent is using Arsenal and Tottenham to try and create the impression there is a danger of him leaving.

Tottenham have no need of his unless we intend to convert him into a number 10 centre-attacking midfielder or turn Harry Kane into one. We know Kane is to remain the number one striker though because Vincent Janssen was told so and has commented as such. The only other option is that he is played as a wide attacker.

Given the club need a central attacking midfielder to aid Dele Alli and we are looking for a wide attacker and he plays neither role all the stories, which only come from his agent, continue to look like a work of fiction. He is Argentinian, perhaps that is what is being played on, whatever it is, it hasn't looked genuine from the start.

Whether there is something in the Arsenal talk is another matter, they seem to still be in the market for a striker
