How strong is Pochettino interest in Alario?

River Plate are insisting that Lucas Alario id non-transferable, he is not for sale. However, he has a release clause and his agent says if it is met his player is off.

Coach Marcello Gallardo sees Alario as the spearhead of his attack and River Plate will do all they can to keep him, yet they could be helpless, it just depends how much Mauricio Pochettino wants the striker. Tottenham have already informed River Plate of our interest and we have obviously has preliminary talks to establish the potential feasibility of a transfer, hence the news emerging of a release clause.

The Argentinian side are adamant that that will have to be met or he isn't going anywhere, the message is they won't negotiate. Time will tell how interested Pochettino is.
