Atletico Madrid want Diego Costa and he wants to return to his former club. That can't happen until Chelsea have a replacement. They have bought Michy Batshuayi, but he has no Premier League experience and Conte appears to like to have plenty of striking options, Juventus had four strikers under his tenure so Chelsea will want a top striker in addition to Batshuayi.

Real Madrid want Eden Hazard and Chelsea want Alvero Morata, although they would prefer 23-year-old Colombian captain James Rodriguez.

The Eden Hazerd move would trigger the Costa move and end their interest in other strikers, some of which we are also trying to sign and keeping an eye on. Atletico have been linked with several strikers including Tottenham tarhet Antonio Sanabria.

Chelsea though are demanding £41.96-million plus striker Morata for Hazard. It just goes to show regardless of form or performances how a club maintains a top, some would say over the top valuation on a player. The transfer cat and mouse game and the initial valuation is because new boss Antonio Conte wants unsettled James Rodriguez as well and he is rather expensive, a similar price to Hazard in fact, £75.53-million (€90m - AUS$133.70m - US$100.25m).

Hazrd is a good player but he isn't worth that sort of money, he's not in the same class as Gareth Bale, who has far more about his game than the Belgian.
