Go yourself or take your child to see a star or two
The Premier League are trying to upgrade the level of football at development level, which at the moment, is a mile away for senior professional football. While it may hone technical ability there is a world of difference in intensity.
Players have to go out on loan to fight for a first-team place and play football where they have to perform in front of expectant fans. They have to learn to fend for themselves, live away from home and in many cases grow up.
Each team plays home and away and must have three games at their home ground so if you are concerned about the cost of taking your children to a Premier League game, why not go there on Stevenage for a Development Squad game. You never know who you might see.

On 30 August we take on Derby County, on 19 September we take on Liverpool. On 23 September we are away at St Mary's Stadium where we play Southampton and 12 December sees us at the iPRO Stadium, Derby County's home ground before our final Premier League 2 Division 1 fixture, a home game at White Hart Lane against Leicester City on 5 May 2017.
