Brazilian wonderkid to reject Arsenal, Man U and Man City

The next Brazilian wonderkid, 19-year-old Gabriel Jesus, would prefer a move to Inter Milan rather than Manchester United or Barcelona he told Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport:

"The idea of playing for Inter fascinates me. Also, to wear the Nerazzurri shirt, which has been worn before by one of the greatest footballers ever to come from my country [Ronaldo], would be amazing.
"To measure myself against Ronaldoa nd play in a major league like Serie A is a prospect that interests me."

The Santos youngster is being courted by Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Arsenal, Barcelona, Juventus, Barcelona, Manchester UNited, Manchester City, Real Madrid and has been scouted by all and sundry. Inter are really keen on the Palmeiras star and are ready to offer £34-million (€39.86m - AUS$58.24m - US$44.07m) to secure his services. His agent, Cristiano Simoes, said he wouldn't force a move though.

"Gabriel is really relaxed and we've got no official offers. He feels really good at Palmeiras. He is focused only on them and on the Brazilian championship. If he will choose to respect his contract, that would be fine for use, we don't want to force his sale to another club."

This seems to be the typical player response when asked about interest from a club, he has previously said how much he would like to follow Neymar to Barcelona so I wouldn't be placing much store by his remarks. There were other stories suggesting Real Madrid were more likely to sign him than Bayern Munich, it just depends who you read and who you want to believe.

The Brazilian media are reporting that he is going to snub Chelsea and sign a new contract at Santos so we could have the pantomime next summer as well. Everyone will continue to chase him until one gets his signature. It won't be Real Madrid next summer though as they are probably going to be under a transfer embargo.
