Bentaleb, Pritchard, Fazio, Yedlin, Njie

TRANSFER TALK

Nabil Bentaleb - he has had quite a fall from grace so there has been more going on behind the scenes than we know about. Once close with Pochettino he has now lost his trust. There will be plenty of clubs interested in signing him but is there an attitude there that will put teams off or will his wage demands do that. It was rumoured last summer he was asking for £70,000-a-week. The Independent suggest we want £10-million which is dirt cheap.

Alex Pritchard - while Tottenham have progressed forward Pritchard has stood still so he is now further away from a first team place than he was last summer. He is too old to spend much more time on as he takes up a squad place that could go to someone else more likely to play. His only chance would come in the Cups and an odd cameo substitute performance in the Premier League. We have other players who have overtaken him like Josh Onomah. The asking price is £9-million which clubs ar baulking at.

Federico Fazio - we have been trying to sell him for a year, still trying. Espanyol wants him on loan with us paying most of his wages and then an option to buy for a tiny fee, alternatively, they want to buy him for a tiny fee and have us pay a lump sum to contribute to his wages. Negotiations are deadlocked, he may prove difficult to sell.

DeAndre Yedlin - currently being assessed by Pochettino before a decision is made on his future. Sunderland wanted him for £3-million but the FA have lumbered England with Sam Allardyce and new manager David Moyes may have other ideas about him.

Clinton Njie - awaiting a visa to complete his loan move to Marseille with guaranteed purchase clause when he plays a set number of games. Once he is signed then Marseille will release Georges-Kevin N'Koudou, who has already passed his medical at Tottenham.
