Arsenal 'battle' Spurs, oh really.

We have two strikers, we could do with three as we play the lone striker system, an injury to one and the other has the entire workload.

That third one would be a youngster with an eye for goal with plenty of potential I would expect. There are stories circulating about Arsenal making a move for Wassam ben Yedder, as striker we have been watching for a few years now.

West Ham and Leicester City have also been linked with a move for him with suggestions both clubs have spoken to his agents regularly, as have Spanish triple Europa League winners on the trot Sevilla. The suggestion is that Arsenal are going to 'battle' us for his signature, but all the ITK coming out of the club suggests we are not interested in another striker.

Tottenham, like every other club , watch players. It doesn't mean we are trying to buy them, it merely means we are watching their progress and if all the factors come together at the right time then we would be interested or we will watch and decide he isn't what we want right now.

None of which is anywhere near trying to buy a player. The suggestion that we are interested comes from Canal+ which the Daily Mirror turn into a 'battle', pathetic. French Football News say canal+ have an appalling transfer rumour record and to take iArsenal interest with a pinch of salt.
