Who could we pick from the Real Madrid player exodos

TRANSFER TALK

Real Madrid are having to do a Barcelona. They are expecting a transfer embargo after this summer's transfer window so are having to do their business for the next couple of seasons now. That means players in and players out.

Those that have struggled will go, players like Gareth Bale who had an excellent second half of the season will be staying, dashing the day dreaming expectations of many a Manchester United fan. So who might be available?

Denis Cheryshev has already signing a five-year contract for fellow Spanish side Villarreal. He is a 25-year-old (26 in December) Russian winger.

DIEGO LLORENTE

The 22-year-old (24 in August) Spanish central defender is also close to joining Russian winger Cheryshev at Villarreal. Espanyol are also said to have enquired about his availability. he has been on loan at Rayo Vallecano this season. The reports in March that he was going to be part of the first-team squad next season look to be wide of the mark.

LUCAS SILVA

The 23-year-old (24 next February) Brazilian defensive midfielder hasn't made a name for himself at Real Madrid and spent the season on loan at French strugglers Marseille. Sport report that Porto are interested in taking him to Portugal.

BORJA MAYORAL

Borja Moyoral is a 19-year-old (20 next April) Spanish striker playing for Real Madrid B. The Spanish giants want their rising star to develop so are looking to loan out the Under-21 international next season. Real Oviedo, Sporting Gijon and Leganes are all happy to take him on loan.

MARTIN ODEGAARD

Martin Ødegaard is the young Norwegian attacking midfielder that Real Madrid signed as a 16-year-old. Now 17 (18 in December) they are looking for a new club to continue his development, having played for Real Madrid B this season. He is undoubtedly talented, he was watched by Bayern Munich this season. Breaking through so young will be tough. He could go out on loan although plenty of clubs would like to sign him permanently. The Norwegian international scored one goal and had seven assists in 38 games. This is a kid we ought to be trying to sign if al all possible, he fits with our transfer objectives and is one for the not to distant future.

MATEO KOVACIC

Mateo Kovačić is a 22-year-old (23 next May) who looks set to move to Roma for the new season. He has spent a long time on the bench at Real Madrid and wants to play football. He has made it clear to the club he is unwilling to spend another season as a sub and given he has not impressed in Spain Real Madrid are prepared to let him leave. Liverpool have been interested but a loan move to Italy has been agreed. A player we were linked with but only really in passing.

NACHO FERNANDEZ

Nacho is interesting Juventus. The 26-year-old (27 next January) is another who is not happy with the game time he is getting under Real Madrid coach Zinidine Zidane. The Spaniard is mainly a central defender, but can play at left-back or right-back.

JESE RODRIGUEZ

Jese is a 23-year-old (24 next February) right-footed attacking player whp can play anywhere across the front three. Recent reports in Spain suggest his shock new club might be Espanyol and that he is waiting for the deal to be finalised. A few clubs have perhaps missed out on signing a fairly decent player it seems. Transfermarkt, using presumably their statistical algorithm have him valued at "10.5-million (EUR13.32m - AUS$20.29m - US$15.01m). I'm surprised we haven't been linked with a move for him to any great extent.

MARCO ASENSIO

Marco Asensio is a 20-year-old (21 next January) Spanish attacking midfielder who spent the season on loan at Espanyol. It is though he will undergo pre-season with Real Madrid and then be loaned out to Espanyol for a second season. The highly promising talent has family in the area so it is a loan move that suits him while he develops. Real Madrid signed him from Mallorca beating off competition from Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and many others for his signature.

BURGUI

Burgui is another player who spent the season on loan at Espanyol. The 22-year-old (23 in October) Spaniard is a right-footed left-winger who can also play as a second striker. His contract runs out at the end of the month and Real Betis are reported by Marca to have begun negotiations over a loan move with a purchase option. Mundo Deportivo report Real Sociedad are also after him. He is said to want more playing time as well.

MARCOS LLORENTE

Marcos Llorente is a right-footed 21-year-old (22 next January) Spanish Real Madrid B player who plays as a central midfielder, a defensive midfielder or a centre-back. He will train pre-season with Real Madrid but will then leave, either on loan or a permanent deal if a club can convince him his future lies away from the Bernabeu.,

ISCO

Isco is arguably the most high-profile of the players Real Madrid are looking to offload. The 24-year-old (25 next April) Spanish attacking midfielder interests Italian side Juventus. Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, and Gareth Bale are all ahead of him in the pecking order, however, he did start 21 times, mind you he was taken off in 10 of those. The recent sexual assault case in Spain has named him. Isco has a contract until 2018 and is sponsored by Nike. He is a player I'd be happy t see in a Spurs shirt.

JAMES RODRIGUEZ

Another high-profile potential departure is that of 24-year-old (25 in July) Colombian captain and attacking midfielder James Rodríguez. The stumbling block is the £63.18-million (EUR80m - AUS$121.95m - US$90.29m) they want for him. Rodríguez is not angling for a move and is happy to stay at Real Madrid, at that price that is probably where he will  stay too. He'd be a good signing, but not at that price.
