Wanyama to replace Dier?

The possible purchase of Victor Wanyama raises many possibilities. Spurs need a right-footed centre-back to cover for Toby Alderweireld or do we?

The recent comments of Harry Redknapp are interesting, especially what his Tottenham contacts have told him.

"I like Dier — he has come on leaps and bounds and people at Tottenham tell me he is going to be an even better centre-back than he is a midfielder. They think he could become a truly great centre-half."

Does this mean that we are going to be using Eric Dier as centre-back cover next season and that if he has to move back there Victor Wanyama will simply take his place as the defensive midfielder? That would mean we don't need to buy a centre-half and we have Cameron carter-Vickers coming through as well.

Having an xtra midfield player this window, is that where we are going? We are certainly being linked with a few and we certainly seem to be in the market for a central attacking midfielder as well as a striker.

We don't seem to be linked to too many centre-backs at the moment, the two we were have signed for other clubs.
