PSG - Unai Emery is the new coach of PSG. He has had success at Spanish side Sevilla for whom he picked up three UEFA Europa League titles on the trot. He told the PSG website: "It is an honour for me to accept the challenge of coaching PSG next season." Jorge Sampaoli replaces him at Sevilla.

MANCHESTER CITY - As ever Manchester City are making a token gesture to have home grown players in their squad. They have apparently set their eyes on West Ham youngster Reece Burke. While young enough not to be included in any Premier League squad the centre-back would be one for the future. West Ham would like to keep him though.

WOLFSBURG - According to German paper Bild, 25-year-old German international winger/forward Andrè Schürrle has, unsurprisingly to me, told Wolfsburg  his wants to join Borussia Dortmund. Wolfsburg have no European football to offer, Borussia Dortmuns have UEFA Champions League. No contest.

ARSENAL - Arsene Wenger is said to be considering a move for West Ham full-back Sam Byram. This is speculation in case Héctor Bellerín joins Barcelona. Manchester City are also said to have extensively scouted the 22-year-old, but West Ham will want to keep hold of him.

EVERTON - Ronald Koeman is said to be keen to bring 33-year-old Dutch goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenberg to Everton from former club Southampton, where he has been number two to Fraser Forster, who no doubt would not have made the rickets Joe Hart did in goal for England. Four games two errors leading to goals, solid stuff Joe.

FENERBAHCE - Fenerbahçe owner, Aziz Yildirim, has revealed to AMK Sport Radio that Valencia have agreed to pay the full £7.05-million (€8.5m - AUS$12.77m - US$9.39m) release clause, and that 29-year-old Portuguese winger Nani has agreed to join the Spanish club.

HULL CITY - Steve Bruce, back in the Premier League, is keen on bringing 25-year-old Northern Ireland international winger/forward Josh Magennis of Kilmarnoch to Hull City. Under contract until 2017 he has formerly played for Cardiff City.

WEST HAM - The Hammers have been at the European Championships scouting Mario Gomez. The 31-year-old German striker is currently at Italian side Fiorentina and has been linked with moves to Inter Milan and AC Milan. He has been on loan at Turkish side Besiktas who are keen to keep him.
