Spurs have been scouting Marseille winger

The local Marseille paper that you should all be familiar with no, La Prevence, have reported that Tottenham have been scouting Georges-Kévin N'Koudou.

He may not be a name you are familiar with. The 21-year-old (22 next February) French-Cameroonian winger made his Ligue 1 debut on the opening game of the 2013/14 season for Nantes against SC Bastia.

N'Koudou is dual footed and plays mainly on the left and has played for France at Under-17, Under-10, Under-20 and Under-21 sides. He has been one of the bright lights of a dismal Marseille season which has attracted the interest of Manchester United, Liverpool, West Ham United, Sevilla, and Villarreal as well as ourselves.

The French side bought him for £1.25-million (€1.5m - AUS$2.23m - US$1.66m) in July 2015 and played 28 Ligue 1 games scoring 5 goals with 3 assists. In all he scored 10 goals and had 5 assists.

La Provence say: 'Several foreign teams have already expressed interest. In Spain, Sevilla and Villarreal follow him for several months. In the Premier League, Tottenham, in particular, is in the running. Other English clubs less posh than the Spurs, but more fortunate than OM, are as attentive to his career. No offer has yet been made, but it will not be long.'

They finish by suggesting Marseille will not discuss the players future (he has a contract with them until 2020) for less than £8.35-million (€10m - AUS$14.88m - US$11.09m).
