Spurs enquired about Slovak goalscorer Duda

TRANSFER TALK

Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, and West Ham United have all requested information on Slovak international Ondrej Duda. The 21-year-old (22 in September) is an attacking midfielder, who can play as a secondary striker, in the Polish Ekstraklasa for Legia Warsaw.

Duda scored in the opener against Wales but didn't look a Premier League player to be honest. The Italian press suggest there are many clubs around Europe following him and he did only play 30 minutes so more of him needs to be seen to see what he can do at this level.

Roma, Bologna, and Monaco are trailing him with Roma said to be the front runners willing to pay his £3.16-million (€4m - AUS$6.1m - US$4.5m). The Italians want to move quickly to sign him before Premier League clubs come in with higher salary offers.

Agents are waiting with players at the Euros in the hope that their performances will lead to being able to ask for higher wages, Roma want to tie him down before that happens.
