Mkhitaryan put up for sale

Italian reports suggest it is going to be difficult for Juventus to sign Borussia Dortmund attacking-midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The 27-year-old (28 in January) has refused to sign a new contract and as his existing deal runs out in 2017 the German club have put him up for sale. Keeping him any longer would simply reduce his value.

The Italian press think the Armenian will end up in the Premier League with Arsenal, a long-term admirer and that both Chelsea and Tottenham are interested. They speculate that one of them will make a £27.29-million (€35m - US$39.76m - AUS$53.34m) bid. You would expect Liverpool can be added to that list with Jurgen Klopp being his former manager.
