Mkhitaryan nothing serious at the moment
Tottenham Hotspur have once again spoken with the agent of 27-year-old (28 in January) Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the attacking midfield player from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund. The British press have once again gone overboard and over egged the story to draw some dramatism out of it.
We are being linked with all and sundry, not because we are trying to sign them all, but simply to loo at our options so in the event of any circumstance we then have a direction to turn. Henrikh Mkhitaryan is just one of a group of attacking midfield players we have been watching and we will sound out., nothing more at this stage. The thoughts from Germany is that despite turning down a contract extension at Borussia Dortmund he is still likely to stay there.
