Kanga, one of 5 PSG youngster we are scouting

France Football report that Tottenham Hotspur are taking an interest in an 18-year-old (19 next February) winger come striker aWilfrede Kanga t French champions PSG.

I covered Spurs interest in Kanga last month with an article on the players we were interested in at the PSG academy, Kanga is one of five.

He has contract offers from PSG and Juventus who they say have offered a three-year deal. Juventus took Kingsley Coman from PSG in similar circumstances while didn't please the French, but Coman left because he said he wouldn't get any opportunity at PSG. This is the problem with the top clubs in a country grabbing the best young talent and then not playing them, They are going to want to leave to get first team football.

At Tottenham, we have a manager in Mauricio Pochettino who plays youth, he gives it it's chance. As fans we must remember that we can not keep hold of every player, indeed, we must not. When we deem a player isn't going to make the level we require they need to be moved on to make way for others coming through.

There are only so many spaces available in a match-dau squad and we can only have seven subs. Players like Josh Onomah are making their way and there has to be the prospect of an opportunity for them to stay at the club. It is part of the reason that I'd move someone like Tom Carroll on, to make space.

Kanga played 6 games in the UEFA Youth League against Shakhtar Donetsk, (a) Real Madrid (h & a), Roma (a) in the quarter-finals, Real Madrid (a) in the semi-finals and Chelsea in the final.
