Denis Suarez a chink of light for Spurs
There is a chink of light in the chase for Denis Suarez, his signature is still a long shot, but there is now a glimmer of hope.
Previously there has been speculation that Barcelona would sell the 22-year-old (23 next January) on and that is all it was, fans just speculating that because Real Madrid are doing that with Morata then Barcelona would do it with Suarez. Barcelona, however, don't want to resell Suarez, they want to keep him.
Suarez though has asked Barcelona for significantly more than he is on at Villarreal and Barcelona are reluctant to meet his wage demands. the players agent and Barcelona will meet this week to see if they can come to an agreement otherwise Suarez will demand he is sold.
That will interest Tottenham, Arsenal, Villarreal and Napoli, the chief movers for Suarez in the market so far. It is a small glimmer, but we may know more after Friday.
