Crystal Palace stories someone's idea of a joke

Where do people get these stupid stories from and why do they peddle them? I read a Clubcall article and it tries to tell us that Tottenham have valued Nabil bentaleb at £5 million, which is utterly absurd and Ryan Mason at £5 million, which is equally as daft.



Ryan Mason may be surplus to requirements but he is a proven Premier League performer and the previously reported £8 million would be a minimum figure if he were at WBA, Southampton or Everton, in fact he would be valued by them a lot higher. He is a Tottenham player though so opposing fans will lower his valuation and mysteriously it will rise overnight in their eyes.



Nabil Bentaleb is again a proven Premier League performer who playing regularly would command fees in excess of £15 million, he isn't though, but has a contract until 2020 and is only 21. Those two facts alone put him beyond £10 million so suggesting £5 million is somebody's idea of a joke. They must be sponsored by Screwfix.
