Witsel, Zaza, Alves, Falque, Umtiti, Wijnaldum

Dani Alves, currently with Barcelona wants to tie up a move to Juventus as soon as possible. There have been several meeting with his entourage and everyone expects the details to be finalised soon.

Italian reports conform Southampton and West Ham are chasing Juventus reserve striker Simone Zaza while reports in the UK press suggest Juventus have asked for Southampton striker Graziano Pelle in return. The 24-year-old (25 in June) could only manage 958 minutes in all competitions for Juventus this season, that's under 11 full games. he netted five Serie A goals

The Italian media are suggesting that 27-year-old (28 next January) Belgian midfielder Axel Witsel is very close to renewing his contract at Zenit St Petersburg despite all the reports in the British media suggesting he wants to leave the Russian club.We have been linked with him on many occasions as have Roma, but the press there do not think he is leaving Zenit.

While on the subject of Roma they are willing to offer former Tottenham player Iago Falque who joined then permanently from Genoa in January after a season-long loan. They want from Torino and are offering Falque as bait.

There is talk Roma may sell Antonio Rüdiger and look to replace him with 22-year-old Samuel Umtiti of Lyon, a player Tottenham have been tracking, Iñigo Martinez of Real Sociedad or Kurt Zouma of Chelsea. Uncapped Umtiti has just been called up into the French squad for the European Championships after Barcelona centre-back Jérémy Mathieu suffered an injury.

Roma are also after Georginio Wijnaldum of Newcastle, another player we have been linked with, although not very seriously at this stage.
