Spurs, Man U, Juventus want Bernardo Silva

Young Monaco striker Bernardo Silva is attracting our interest. The 21-year-old (22 in August) Portuguese left-footed right winger, who can play anywhere across the three attacking midfield positions in our formation has had a very successful season with the French club.

Juventus have met with 'super' agent Jorge Mendez about a deal.he is an agent who comes in when parties have already talked to try and finalise a deal. The Italian champions can offer Champions League football and titles, their aim is to win the Champions League having come runners-up to Barcelona last year.

Manchester United are reported to be willing to offer £16 million (20.31m EUR) but the figures being talked about in Italy are that Monaco want £31.52 million (40m EUR). A deal for Spurs looks difficult therefore as we will no doubt value him at around the same figure Manchester United do. Juventus clearly have a lower figure in mind which is why Mendez will have ben called in.

Currently, Monaco do not know their fate next season, they sit third in the Champions League play-off position with one game to go. They are 2 points ahead of fourth-placed side Nice. They are 3 points behind  second-placed Lyon but with a vastly inferior goal difference, so third is the best they can hope for.

Monaco are at home to 10th placed Montpelier and Nice are away to 15th placed Guingamp.

The list of leading goalscorers in France (table from www.soccorway.com) shows several players we have been watching and been linked with, Lacazette, Batshuayi, Ben Yedder, Dembele, Boufal. There are quite a few names we are watching and seeing what can be done. It takes a lot of background and scouting work just to sign one player.
